We Just Plant Seeds

“And he said, The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. ”
Mark 4: 26-2

You can’t grow the Church- You can get butts in seats, but you can’t make Christians with marketing, design, or even a great communicating pastor. Like a farmer planting seeds, we preach the Gospel(Matt. 31) and pray that the Spirit will work to make that seed take root. Jesus’ parable cuts straight through our pride, and makes us pause as we think about how we approach church marketing.

We are starting a blog to keep us honest. We want to stay true the mission that we’re on: To Glorify God Through Design.
