What do you think?

March 31st, 2008

I’d like to see many people (especially people who’ve never posted) tell us what you think about this. What are the good things and bad things about these? From our friend and yours: Brad Ruggles

I cringe!!! This can’t be the best way to share the “GOOD” news in todays culture. Oh, and while we are putting random verses on car windows, I would like to vote for “O man of God, there is death in the pot!” from 2 Kings 4:40.

I am not a fan of it. Becoming a Christian is not about “fire insurance”. It should be about knowing Jesus. This kind of crap just scares people off and makes non believers think that we Christians are so much better than everyone else. It’s a bit embarrassing.

The font is terrible. No wonder non-Christians think we’re sheltered and out-of-touch. *rolls eyes*

I always like to ask, what’s the motive?

Good thing: At least they are an organ donor. Bad thing: the period in the second one is not in the Bible, should be a comma:
“…prepare to meet thy God, Oh Israel.” (KJV)

I think it is great! It is like throwing a lemon at the back of someones head. It will annoy the crap out of them, and you can run away so they will never see you. How smart.

    Hey Mike,

Yeah, this is bad. It’s about loving people. This does not accomplish that - it actually does the reverse - it immunizes them against the true gospel!!!! It’s the great commission in REVERSE!

I just don’t feel the love in those messages. And I can’t imagine anyone going, “you know, you’re right!”
