Love(ly) Shirts

April 24th, 2008

A buddy of ours printed up some shirts from the Love Poster awhile back. I just wanted to share them with you all, they turned out pretty cool. What I realized when I got them is that it is much easier to design behind the safety of my computer then to actually proclaim truth. I need to make sure that I proclaim to the world everything I say I believe in my design. I am a coward, and I need to pray for God to give me strength.

    What do you mean by being a “coward”? You would not have the boldness to wear this shirt, or that you do not think it reflects an accurate view of what you wanted to say?

    Coward by being afraid to were a shirt like this in certain places. I believe in the message, and love having the conversations that it brings. But I am still a coward at times.

    I wish you could. The guy only printed 3. We are thinking of selling art/shirts/stickers ect. for specific causes. Hopefully in the next couple months we will have more on that, but not now.

    But hey, if like 15 people tell me they want shirts I will order them.

    If a couple more people say they would like one I will try my hardest to make this happen. But here is something everyone who said they want one can do. Post the shirt on your blog and ask if people would buy. We would love to do this, just want to make sure people will really by them.

    Man, thanks for all the feedback on wanting these shirts! I have just contacted the printer about making an order. I will post on this later this week with more detail, but here is the run down. We have a charity we want to support, you donate whatever amount you want (Radiohead style). Email us the receipt of donation and shipping info. We will cover all printing costs, so 100% will go to the charity. We are excited about this, and again thanks for the push we needed to get this going!
