Feedback vs Ego

May 16th, 2008

I am a member of the CMS lab, and on occasion will post art for review. To be honest it is rare that I truly want people to give me their input on how I can make my design better. What I usually want is a big old pat on the back, and for people to tell me how great it is. I know that is wrong, but it is the truth. Now time for you to tell the truth. and be honest now.

I suck so much at design that i need feedback. BUT, I don’t like feedback that doesn’t understand my design. Like people will see it and be like, “um, that’s good”. Maybe I should have checked the other box.

that is the most insightful post and question ever posted…. I love it :-)

I chose option B from most people. But from people I respect, I like option A.
