Here is our second submission for the Not Art. Gospel. series. The section focused on this time was Matthew 6:1-4. Let me know how you take this art. How do you view it in context with the verse.
So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. Matthew 6:2

I am deeply appreciative of your project. You have a playfully subversive way of overlapping the sacred and profane as you use a common image in a way that not only interprets a passage of Scripture, but also pushes on our cultural identity. Bravo!
