Not Art. Gospel. Free Downloads.
Not Art. Gospel. is an artistic view of each topic on the Sermon on the Mount. It has been about a month since we started this project, and it is amazing to see what God is doing with this. Some amazing doors have been opened, and some great conversations have started from this. But what is most important is that the words of Jesus are being discussed. We want to create art that will lead to God, and we pray that this project will be for His glory.
Please download the posters, print them, hang them, and then talk about the words of Christ.

This poster marks the 1/4 mark of our project. God seems to be opening some amazing doors, and I am excited to see where this leads. So here it is, the Narrow and Wide gates. This is one of those verses that always troubles and reassures me at the same time. Our path will be hard and we will get off course. But we know that it will lead to eternal life.
Look for the hi-res art for the first 5 next week. Take them, print them, and share the gospel.

I usually post these on Mondays, but I had this one done, so here you go. Divorce is a tough topic. It affects most of us, but it’s also something the church seems to hide. Jesus’s words are very strong in this passage, and I hope the image captures that. Let me know how you see this.

I know we are to be fishers of men, but this is still fun.

The company that we work for has been going through some major changes over the past couple months. Kyle and I are now fully in charge of the “Ministry” division, and will be meeting next week to determine who we are. What I would like from you is some feedback or ideas that can make our company more than just a company.
Here are some ideas we have been kicking around:
- Give Back Campaign. Percentage of profits go to home building in Mexico.
- Church Planting Kits. Everything a church plant could need.
- Ad Agency Attention. Every new church/ministry would get the attention of our full staff when needed.
- Just Say NO! We will know when to tell a church/ministry no on a idea when needed.
- Open Source Creative. We don’t want to hold on to everything, lets give some away.
- Church Training Kits. Sometimes an older congregation needs to be trained on new marketing.
These are just some ideas, but I want to hear from you. What do you like, and what do you dislike. If you are a Pastor, what would be helpful to you?

Corey has been having all of the fun thus far, so I figured it was time for me to get in on the action. Here is the third submission for the Not Art. Gospel. series. This piece focuses on Matthew 6:19-21 and is titled “Moth & Rust.” When you match the art up to the message, how does it make you feel? What do you think?
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21

“It’s all in the details” That is a phrase that one of our clients uses, and it really resonates with me. It is true for most aspects of my life. In design it is the details that matter in a brand. Making sure you have consistent margins. Making sure fonts and colors are the same in all applications. Small little details are what make someone trust you in design.
And the same is true for Christianity. It is the details in our life that show who were are. Kindness to stranger, giving of your money to those in need. The small things that most people wont see, those are what really make us.
I do love flash, and the awing effect of great design. I love performing a service for all to see, showing my love for God. But what I need to focus on is the small details that confirm who I say I am.

Giving can be so simple.
STEP 1: Use as much of your card as you want.
STEP 2: Write how much is left on your card using a permanent marker.
STEP 3: Challenge your friends to join you and collect what they give.
STEP 4: Place all the cards (You & Friends) in an envelope and send it.
