Our Life is a Contradiction

One part of Christianity that has always fascinated me is how our lives are meant to be a contradiction. God has set up such a amazing tension for us that we can only rely on Him. When we are weak we are strong. We have pride in Christ but we are to be humble. The last shall be first and first shall be last. In our suffering we have joy. Our salvation is a gift of faith but we still uphold the law. These contradictions point me to a loving God, and I am amazed by them.

Check out these photos from Filippo Minelli. The series is called “Contradictions”. I love how he uses simple logos and places them in third world settings. It is a good reminder to step back from our comforable 2.0 world, and see what it really looks like.
